Krav Maga translated means contact combat and is the official self-defense system of the Israeli Defense Forces. Everything is based on instinctive movements. The techniques rely on leverage, the physics of body mechanics and common sense. You will learn how to effectively defend yourself, even if your assailants are more powerful than you.
The Basic Idea: Do What Works Best
Krav Maga’s approach is to teach you how to survive a real-world threat. Avoid fighting when you can, render the attacker helpless when you must. You will be trained to counterattack swiftly and effectively to the most vulnerable parts of an attacker’s body.
Battlefield Proven Self Defense
The Israeli Defense Forces including their Special Forces, Israeli Police and internal security branches have been using Krav Maga for over seventy years. Krav Maga techniques have proven themselves time and time again in the real world. Krav Maga is realistic so students learn to be effective under conditions of stress, fatigue and being physically impaired.
Why is Krav Maga Different From Other Martial Arts?
Krav Maga is a modern hand to hand combat system. Krav Maga teaches how to fight on the street, and unlike other Martial Arts there are no rules, no rituals, no karate uniforms and no bare feet. All of these difference allow Krav Maga to hone in on the most effective techniques for self-defense.

It is very empowering to know that you have the power to change the course of your life. You and only you alone can carve your destiny.
